hi...if it is the basic sky digibox then you probably need to do a software update...this is done via your sat dish...and this is how you do it...

press the 'backup' button on your digibox and hold it in...while holding it in pull out your power lead on the back, and 'still' while holding in the 'backup' button plug your power lead back in to the digibox.

this will start the software download, and it will take between 3-10 minutes...you will see a white display on your tv telling you this.

when the download is complete your digibox will go into standby, so restart and i believe you will find your probs have been solved.

hope this helps...happy new year

Yip, Ring Sky and tell them to come and take the whole lot out and tell them you are stopping thier direct debit if they don't send an engineer out to sort it and tell them you are not paying the 65GBP call out charge. Ive had 4 engineers at my house in the last 16 days!!!!!! and 4 different digi boxes. Dont let them away with it. YOU ARE PAYING THEM FOR A SERVICE

your dish has probably moved a milometer or two in the wind, try adjusting that first if its not that then redo the coax (cable) connections. I fixed mine this morning.

if you ring sky they can check if there is a fault. failing this it may be your reciever. something similar happened to us and we ended up having to purchase a new box off ebay.
