The same Greek word means "praise" or "honor" (from others) and "glory" (from God).

In John 5:41, Jesus says, "I do not accept human praise," to make clear that he does not seek human praise.

Then he expands the thought in verse 44.

Jesus is correct in asking us about our efforts to do what is praiseworthy to God instead of man.

I think that Jesus is trying to say:

How can you belive in God if you try to make Him notice you when if you do belive in Him you know he notices you all the time. If you belive in God, you will try not to get noticed because it shows hummility which you would know God pays the most attention to.

Let's not worship each other. Why? Cause we all have faults; bad faults.
