If you worked part of the year & was at home for the rest, chances are you are entitled to a Tax refund. I believe there are some allowances for having children in full time education.

You need to learn how to do your own research to discover how to claim everthing you are entitled to.

For Tax allowances, start here :-

I believe that you can deduct at least a certain amount. If I had more time atm I would pour through all this and find exactly. Pretty much www.irs.gov has all the info you could ever want or care to read about taxes.. Most countries are very similar. Hope this helps some =)

I confer with your third answer:
"Write offs" are the way to go and home based business will cover more ground. I am also a USANA Associate - fantastic health and nutrition company. The lady I work with has a superb plasma screen mounted on her wall which she got as a tax deduction in her USANA business. Her boat, by the way, is a Boston Whaler called Omega 3 (think fish oils) which takes out her business associates and clients. Busy people make the best business people. Good luck!
