Why did he give you free will?
Do you want to be a robot or the freedom to do the same as Satan?

Lucifer is not Biblical. The only Biblical reference for the name Lucifer is an obscure bit of poetry in Isaiah 12:14, and then only in a King James Bible. Newer translations refuse to translate the name the same way. The rest of the story is Extra-Biblical
The Lucifer myth is actually a Babylonian myth of Lucifer rebelling against God in the heaven. Lucifer is where we get the term Luminous. Lucifer was punished by being changed into the planet Venus, morning and most luminous body in the night sky.

Before we were born we were spirit children. When we came to earth and recieved a body, Lucifer wanted to make us do right instead of having free agency. God did not want that. He wanted us to choose to do his will not force us to. When God didn't do what Lucifer wanted he rebelled and was then thrown out of Heaven.
