I haven't the foggiest how they'd do that. Explain how this would work and I'll tell you if it sounds possible.

'We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty,' said Mother Teresa. Hence not only Christianity, any religion that does not resolve this poverty becomes a breeding ground of poverty. So, we must start in our own religions, whether it be Christianity, or Islam, or Hinduism, to remedy this kind of poverty.

not all but some do. I guess it depends what you mean by Christians. Polagamists certanly seem to when one man can have 100 children and a dozen wives. Yes, the get govt assistance because they cannot support them. Catholics are told to multiply and quite often the Catholics try and have as many children as possible. Most Christians believe in hard work and supporting themselves. As long as they are not on the dole, no problem.

I don't really follow the logic of your question. I think people breed poverty through their actions and some government programs aid in that, however, I don't feel that religious affiliation has any bearing on it.

I believe what you mean is something along the lines of: Because Christians support charity, they discourage the poor from looking after themselves. If the poor looked after themselves and did not expect charity, they could do better by looking after their own interests in a free market system.
Cute, but you have not freed yourself from myth and have not embraced the light of reason. All you've done is change religion and embraced the belief free market solves everything. You've let go of the Bible and picked up Atlas Shrugged.
Not much of an improvement if you ask me.

Some of the questions you people ask are so far out in left field that it makes me think, for some people at least.......Does asking questions in here breed stupidity.
You go as far as you do to try to make being Christian a bad thing.......at least ask something that isn't so stupid.
If you can.
Maybe you can't

Liberal programs breed welfare,IE.black men don't stay with the family unit or the check is taken away;thus deterioration of the black family. While in theory a good idea,in practice a social disaster.

Intellectual poverty for certain. Evangelists seem to benefit monetarily. "End Times" and "Gay Menace" authors and politicans seem to prosper quite a bit, but I don't think they actually believe any of that stuff.

Not anymore than anyone else. They have the same opportunities as anyone else may have. Christ gave no commandment "thou shall be poor" I've tried broke and didn't like it so I'm sure no one else does either.
