I have no way of knowing, and I don't even try to speculate. I just try to follow the signs given to me. Trying to understand God's plan is impossible, I think, because we can't even comprehend HIM and his actions. We just have to have faith!

I always loved the quote "If you want to make God laugh, tell him what YOU have planned for your life." lol

First, April your answer deserves "best". You've captured the idea beautifully.
I look at God's will for my life as a daily adventure. I know when He wants me at a particular place, He'll make sure I get there and He will provide me with what ever I need to accomplish His will.
An example - I was asked to sit with the elderly mother of one of our Church members recently for an afternoon while she was in the hospital. I went. With parking & all I had to leave a couple of times to feed the meter & as ashamed as I am to say this, I smoke, so I also took advantage of meter feeding combined with a quick smoke.
For what ever reason a lady approached me, asked for a light and began to talk about "Church". She had questions about tithing and how it irritated her - thinking all Church's ever want is money. It gave me an opportunity to witness to her and after we talked she said she understood.
Just a small example of God placing me where HE wanted me at a given time.
Our role is a simple one - answer "Yes Lord" when God calls.

I have my own plans. I've never needed to be told what to do since I was a teenager. No gods required.

There is no god, therefore there is no plan. My life is my own and I can make my own plans. Not all of them work, unfortunately.

He wants you to read the instuctions so you won't make so many mistakes and hurt yourself so often. I have been hurt and most often because my chioce was not as the bible suggested. If you can say you have never been hurt you need an honesty check.

I don't think he reveals that to you right away...it's something you have to "put together" by living on a daily basis/through time.
