They should not exist.
The verse before the one you cited also says there is "one body". Since the body is the church (Eph 1:22-23), and there is only one body, we can conclude that there is only one church approved of in the Scriptures.
Notice what 1 Corinthians 1:10 says;
"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."
Why do we have so many? Men are not satisfied to all speak the same thing. Men are not satisfied to teach only the word of God. Men are not satisfied to only speak where the Bible speaks, and be silent where the Bible is silent. Men are not content to do Bible things in Bible ways and call Bible things by Bible names. Too many wish to add their own desires and teach their own doctrine.
Notice 2 Timothy 4:2-4.
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

Ephesians 4:3-6 says "earnestly endeavoring to observe the oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace. One body there is, and one spirit, even as YOU were called in the one hope to which YOU were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all." So you see, there is One God, and One Faith.
Then we also have Jeremiah 32:39 "And I will give them one heart and one way in order to fear me always, for good to them and to their sons after them" So you see from this scripture that we have been given ONE heart, so our worship has to be in unity.

Well not all of us follow that book, and then there are those that interpret the book differently. The only way we could all agree is if the Divine starts talking directly to everyone. And then it wouldn't be faith for everyone would know and it would be truth. So right now the rules are up to the individual to judge for themselves.

When a text can be interpreted in many different ways, it means it is vague, imprecise, and ambiguous. In order to avoid this obvious reality-handicap, individuals then make the assumption that their interpretation must be right against all others. And thus no one is wrong! TA DA!
It's amazing so few ponder this aspect of their faith.

Why are you asking this? This is just silly! If we don't all believe the Bible, why WOULDN'T there be different faiths?! I hate to tell you, but just because the Bible says it, doesn't mean it's so.

Not everyone follows the Bible. Remember, there was religion and spirituality before the writing of the Bible.

there is only one true faith...one true Lord and one true Baptism. Unfortunately we have many stubborn people who think differently.

Because they are all man-made. According to the Christian World Encyclopedia there are 10,000 different religions and 30,000 different Christian denominations. Would that happen if there was one all know, all power type god?
And please don't say "the devil did it". That would give the devil a lot more power than god is supposed to have and that won't make sense, would it?
