Sit-ups and crunches will help to lose belly fat and create more pronounced abs. As for the arms, try lifting weights or dumbbells along with other arm exercises. Yoga and Pilate's both work pretty well. Push-ups will help tone up most of your upper body, too. Believe it or not, jump-roping really helps to lose some extra pounds, as well. Check Seventeen and Cosmogirl magazines for work-outs focused on these parts of the body. They work really well.

First of all you might need to listen to your parents. You are going to have to exercise to lose some of that fat. Your body is like a small company that is trying to save energy. Your muscles are like flood lights and your fat is like a halogen. If you don't use your muscles the body lets them turn off because they use more energy (ie burn more calories). If you start working out all your muscles groups on a regular basis (3 times a week for about 30 minutes at a time) you will see your body start cutting our the halogen lights. Your belly and behind are some of the first places the body stores fat so they are also the last place to lose it. Don't get discouraged if it takes a little bit of time. Try the workout thing for at least 6 weeks for results. You might also try a before and after picture to improve your self esteem.
Also consider your diet. 3500 calories is one pound of fat. If you can cut out 500 calories out of your diet a day you can lose a pound a week. One other tip is to stop eating 4 hours before you go to bed. Any blood sugar in your system after that will be converted to fat making it that much harder for you to burn off those undesired pounds.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

Don't think about starving yourself because it will make you have extra skin hanging. Always eat right first for about two weeks, then start to excercise to build up muscle eventually the fat may start to disappear. You'll see results in about 4 weeks.
Try exercises like: Bellydancing, crunching, pilates for your stomach. and for your arms push ups and a little bit of weight lifting is good.

I have heard that Carbohydrates/Complex sugars are one of the leading causes of belly fat. I know it sounds cliche, but If you try to cut back on the carbs, it wil make a difference.

how old r u? if u r like older then 15 u cld do weights but if u r younger don't do them because they cld stunt yr growth. u c instead use cans of whatever and use them like weights or u cld do pull-ups. Doing sit-ups, crunches and pilates really help your stomach. believe it or not, doing jump rope helps. or u cld also try doing b'ball or soccer. u cld also go on a bit of a diet. have u heard of a work-out video called Body Attack? or Taebo? those really work to firm your muscles. stay off starchy foods like bread and rice and stay off sugary stuff. drink 3 cups of milk a day and focus on veges and fruit. when eating meats, try to stay away from fatty ones like pork and beef. stick to chicken and fish if possible

imight you should do some simple exercises, crunches work for your stomache area if you do it right. but you can try reverse crunches which are more effective trust me!!
also i think skipping, will help you lose thoose extra pounds, it helps tone up your arms, and also if you pick your kness up to your stomach while skipping, it tones up your belly!!
