It's a constant pain, and irritation to cold or hot. I don't know much about teeth, sorry. I tried.

You will know if someone has cavities if you see dark brown lines inside or outside the enamel (second layer of tooth). Another way to know if someone has cavities is to go to the dentist every month or so and keep away junk food. Your aloud to eat them once in awhile. (every 2 months or so)

check your teeth and if you find any small holes in them they are cavaties. nerves usually cause pain in sensitive teeth. get some sensonyne or similar toothpaste from the supermarket. these toothpastes generally take the pain away very quickly' but you should have regular checkups from your dentist, whether or not you think there'e anything wrong with your teeth.

They are complicated to notice on your own unless its already really serious, the best way is just go to a dentist check up, if there is one the dentist will find it right away.
