The food thing you could try mixing with water then less water then less and so on, to get him used to it. Dry food is better for the dog so he will enjoy more but try to get him more familiar with ours we also keep a small sandwich bag of his dry food in the living room for when he's done good we give him one piece of his dry food. Beats any of those naff treats and does the job I'm not saying it will work for you but we found it works for us. With the 2nd injection it's normally seven days after but you can check with a vet. With pups It's just like kids percivier and don't give in! .. enjoy! .. hope this helps I know it can be worrying x

When puppies are young like that, they are used to biting their litter mates. They see this as a form of playing, but they don't know that humans have thinner skin then they do. So u will need to train him. Things u can do every time hi bites scream loudly, so he gets the impression he is hurting you after the 1st step, stand up and turn away folding your arms, ignore him until he is calm do this every time he bites. For the barking, don't punish him if he barks, he is just a little puppy, but you can't let the behavior continue. reward him when he doesn't bark, and get a dog training book from the library. You can find lots of good info there

Its one week after the second injection, greedy pups eat as though they will never be fed again, try adding water to his food, most pups have been fed with the others in the litter so its a case of the strongest gets the most, and when you have several little mouths wanted to pinch your dinner its a case of get it down as fast as you can.

dampen the biscuits, give him a few at a time and also try spreading them over the floor he then has to take his time to hunt them down. Ask the vet about the jab time but we took our Newfoundland pups out 2 weeks after their second injection.

There are a bunch of things you should know about dog training but we are going to discuss what I feel are some the most important. Keep in mind that these are only some of the things you should know. Go here http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?q634
1. Repetition is the number 1 principle of dog training. Dogs just like humans learn by doing things over and over in order to get better.
2. Dog Training can and should be fun for both you and your new pet.
3. Training sessions should always be short but sweet. I never work a dog more than 15 minutes in a session to keep from losing the dog's attention. You should train you dog at least once a day but never more than three formal sessions a day.
4. Your goal should be that each training session is just a little bit better than the last one. You need to always strive to make the training better, slowly. I mention this because quite often I see people who do daily training sessions but the dog never gets better and it is not the dogs fault.
5. Having patients is very important in dog training. Losing your temper does not work with a canine it simply makes things worse.
6. Exercise is very important in the training process to get rid of all the dogs nervous energy.
7. Taking your pet for walks is very important because it develops serotonin which gives your dog a feeling of well being.
8. Always be sure to give your dog a bunch of praise in your training. It is your dog's paycheck for doing a great job.
9. Never hit your dog. I have heard people say I never hit my dog instead I roll up a magazine and swat it. It's the same thing... hitting is hitting.
10. After each training session be sure to do something that your dog will enjoy. Take it for a walk, throw the ball or maybe even rub its belly. Just do something that makes the dog look forward to the next training session.
These are things that I teach my dog training students as well as my dog training clients. I hope these things will give you something to think about when training your dog. Spend some time training your dog daily and you will both reap the benefits.

Have you tried soaking the food before giving it to him?
The vet should have told you how long you need to keep him in but it's usually 3-7days after his 2nd injection.

My dog does this too!
Put a little bit of warm water in the bottom of the bowl.........or give him a quarter at a time, then the next bit, then the next and then the final bit - so he doesn't scoff it all at once.
Not sure about the injection bit though. Hope it helps.

im no expert on dogs,
but, aswell as soaking it in water , as other people have mentioned,
you could also cut the food into smaller pieces ?
Just a suggestion.
