Write them a letter, poem, or something romantic. When a person reads something, they are thinking, imagining, listening to themselves read it, etc.

conversate-ask questions that matter...not questions that make the other person think you're only interested in her "status"
when you ask meaningful questions, she'll remember that you were really trying to get to know her
