Okay, well i just started to get really addicted to pasta. It's whole wheat pasta, with no sodium tomato sauce, and chicken strips(southwestern seasoned by oscar mayer) . I found out that only 4 cups has 800 calories, so one meal with chicken, juice, is like 1000 calories. Otherwise its a very healthy meal, but Dont you only burn like 1200 everyday or less? If i continue to eat this every night for dinner will i gain weight?

Yes because pasta is a simple carbohydrate, and all simple carbos will pack on pounds. If you want to lose weight, avoid all "white" foods for awhile . That would be all foods made with flour and milk ( breads, butter, pasta, dairy,) but don't make that a permanent life style. Also, 4 cups is too much. Scale back to two cups. Try eating everything on a small salad plate to help with the correct serving sizes.

Pasta will make you gain wait if you eat it for dinner on a non-workout day.

The best time for carbohydrates is for breakfast and/or lunch on days you plan on doing cardio or lifting weights.

Carbohydrates are some the the hardest things for the body to break down. If your body can't break all of the carbohydrates down it begins to store it in your body in the form of fat. When you eat carbs early your body will work them off throughout the day. If you eat them at night you are not as active thus the fat storing process begins.

So in summary only eat carbs at for dinner on days you worked out.

Yeah you'll gain weight if you don't exercise, because of the carbs.. if you exercise, you might just stay the same because your burning the carbs your eating, but try not to eat that much because it really isn't that good for you..
