If 'best' means the most money then sales engineering is where to be. If 'best' means most personally fulfilling (and you are a person who likes gadgets) then a design engineer for a small company is a great job. Design engineers for larger companies tend to become very specialized, leading eventually to boredom.

Ok, in the electronics if you want to know alot of things and be in the top of the new stuff you should be a FAE (Fild aplication Engineer) for an semicontuctor company (ON, Freescale, etc) this is fun and will give a wide view of the real electronic work in your area and later in the world... plus it will teach you how to make stuff and get money... jejejeje
