I believe it is the division of property and money. We are losing our middle class. The rich are becoming obscenely rich and the middle class and the poor are just getting poorer. Taxes are increasing because the rich get out of paying them easier than the middle class and the poor. Ironic, huh? We are loosing our agriculture and sense of worth. We sit at home watching our televisions and see all the stuff we don't have. Our families are becoming addicted to behaviors that are unproductive, foods (fats and sugars, cloned and irradiated vegetables and fruits) that are not good for us. We put chemicals in our bodies that have warning labels that say 'this anti-depression medication can cause suicide'. Alcohol use is on the rise.

It seems as though, as life gets better, we get worse.
