Maroon is nice. Also a Salmon Red, or a reddish orange. Remember a game room could get intense with competition. You need a warm color to cool down the action.

A nice medium/light burgundy would look great with your floor color. Keep the baseboards and ceiling white and your blinds to give it a crisp, clean look. Depending on what you intend to put in the room...bring in some gold accents or a deep blue with a green undertone.

I'd say green with black. Or if you go with maroon you should accent in orange.
Or do something really dude-ish and but a racing strip around the room! Be sure to include a random zig-zag (only one) somewhere in the strip!

Home depot orange with a light colored wood boarder it looks great, and brightins everything up also a brighter color makes the room more open and sets a good mood, but if your not to fond of orange you still need to go brigh like 2 walls yellow and 2 red
lyk the reds will be next to eachother and the yellow will be next to eachother..
( it sounds werid but its really a good cobination ! )
Goodluck !

Certainly nothing shocking. Loud colors will eventually wear on you and your family. Let the furniture, accessories, games and bar lend the dramatics to the room. Consider earth tones, sage, pumpkin, mocha, cocoa etc. Make a warm, fun, and comfortable place for family and friends, and guests. Have fun decorating!
