So we have been platonic friends for 2 1/2 years. Other than occassional flirting we act like friends, hangout and watch TV or movies together, grab a bite to eat, textin...stuff like that. Well about 2weeks ago he said something to me I didnt like (kinda explicit). I felt it was out of his character to say somethin like that so I got upset and was MIA. Yesterday he once again tried to be friendly apologizing for the "incident" and wanted to order some food and rent a movie later. He started gettin into how he wouldnt "...be here if he didnt want to be". ( I didnt understand that either) I accepted his apology and agreed. So we watched the movie, cuddled, and he left. He text me a few mins later tellin me he came back to my door and knocked cause he didnt really want to leave, but I didnt hear him.

Anywayz he texts me this morning thankin me for a nice night, blah, blah...and that he hopes to chill again before he moves. Well of course Im in SHOCK and ask where hes going. He says back to NJ. Even tho I know it is very possible that he could be moving, somethin tells me he told me to get a reaction. What u think?

Okay what's up with that. How are you gonna be with a guy for 2 1/2 years and expect him not to saying anything a bit explicit. You guys cuddling? Are you dating or he is just a friend. If you are just friends you guys don't need to be cuddling. I can plainly see he has feelings for you. If this is true I can gather he is probably tired of the whole friend thing hence the move. What better way to get over something that is not getting you anywhere. I don't gather it's a hoax but a man that is tired of not getting any affection under the friend label, well any affection on his terms cause cuddling surely is just torture for most men. To be oh so close but yet so far. LOL

It depends on what kind of person he is, if he's the type to play games then that's exactly what he's doing. But like you said, it's very possible he could be moving. If that's the case, he might just want a quick fling before he goes or really does care about you and wants to spend what time he has left with you. On the game side, don't give him any crazy reaction other than something like "oh really? why, what happened?" You will get some sort of reaction out of him like that and see what his true intentions were.

Hmmm, it sounds fishy. It sounds like he wants more than to just be friends....and friends don't usually cuddle while watching a movie together.

You know him...does he lie about other stuff? He could be testing you to see ho much you really care about him, but this would be a pretty creepy thing to do.

I think you need to have a talk and decide if you want to be just friends or something more. Good luck.

I think this boy is playing on your emotions just act as though you will miss a good friend and hope he is happy tell him to ,contact you once in awhile and keep in touch then see where that leads more than liklely he will come up with a reason that he did not have to move dont let this boy be dishonest with you

I wouldn't, but who knows what he is up to. It sounds like you want him to like you, but you do not really want a more than platonic relationship with him.
You said you were "mia" after he said something explicit, so maybe you don't like him for more than a friend. If so, you should support him if he chooses to move. If you want more, you need to be honest and tell him. Maybe that is what he is trying to figure out.

If he told you that he was moving just to get a reaction...I would say that he is childish, immature and manipulative. And you are better off without him.

No, because when they find out you lied (and they will) then they won't like you. Honesty is the choice, try it.
