Hes coming to the UFC along with Heath Herring and Rampage.
They're gonna make the announcement at the PPV on Saturday. Looks like Sylvia is in trouble.

There have been rumors of the sort for about a month. Cro Cop pulled out of the PRIDE NYE show which he was slated to fight on. Sherdog.com previously reported that he would be fighting Jake O'Brien, today MMAWeekly.com ran an interview with Jake O'Brien in which Jake said that he was going to be fighting on the UFN card in January against his toughest opponent to date. Not to mention that according to Josh Gross on "The Beatdown" Mirko hasn't ever had a contract with PRIDE. All of his PRIDE fights have been single fight "handshake agreements" so a move to the UFC would be seamless. Mirko has not announced anything officially, but the rumor mill is hard at work. If you want to read infinite banter on the subject go to sherdog.net and click on "The Heavyweights" forum.

Yes. UFC has given CroCop an offer that is on par with Pride. Right now, CroCop is weighing his options. I have heard rumors that he will sign with UFC and rumors that have him sticking with Pride. I assume we will learn more after the Dec. 30th and 31st shows (or possibly during). Fedor will be fighting Hunt on New Year's Eve and then Jeff Monson at a Bodog event, so CroCop may consider a move to the US if he doesn't see a title shot in the near future.
He's in the UFC baby! They're going to announce it this weekend! Check out MMA Weekly.

I've heard this rumor. From what I've read there's supposed to be an announcement about it during the UFC card on the 30th.
Guess we'll have to wait and see for sure.
Sure would be nice to "stir things up a bit" in UFC competition, wouldn't it?

Yes, that is 100% correct. CroCop is coming to the UFC and he's gonna give Tim Sylvia a real workout.

The fact that he's not on the 12/31 card at Saitama says a lot.

Sherdog said if he is to sign with the UFC they will want to announce it on Saturday, so if they don't announce it Saturday he's is most likely to sign with Pride again on Monday.
