Cain went into banishment in “east of Eden,”
Cain “engaged in building a city,” naming it for his son.
His descendants are listed in part and include men who distinguished themselves in nomadic stock raising, the playing of musical instruments, and the forging of metal tools as well as those who were known for their practice of polygamy and their violence. (Ge 4:17-24)
Cain’s line ended with the global Flood of Noah’s day.

The Bible never returns to describe the end of Cain, however, the Talmud records that Lamach and his son were out hunting and killed him. Lamach was blind but a very skilled archer, and his son would spot prey and basically point his father in the right direction. On that day, the boy saw a horn moving in the bushes and aimed his father, who shot and killed Cain. When Lamach felt the man's face and noticed the horn growing from his forehead, Lamach knew what he had done and fearing the curse G-D had promised Cain to protect him, Lamach immediately fell prostrate and begged the Lord for forgiveness. Because the boy was too young to be culpable and Lamach too blind to correct him, plus their mutual innocence of intent (they did not mean to kill Cain, they were merely hunting and a mistake was made), G-D was merciful and spared them both the Curse.

Maybe he's still alive… or maybe it doesn't really matter.
If the Bible included all the details, it would be too heavy to lift.
