geoducks - sounds like gooey ducts. big clams. were lots of them when i lived in seattle.

They are called geoducks pronounced gooeyducks,they are a very lg growing clam that is found in the pacific NW.Geoducks are the preferred clam in that area. they are fun to hunt because you hve to dig very quickly to get to them.And they are delicious. The penis shape you are referring to, is the extension of their body that they use to pull their food source off the top of the sand down to their main body.
