I tried to look it up, but where is Whiteman AFB? I know it's in MO, but next to what city? How many people? Just an estimate. Thank you!

Whiteman AFB is near Knob Noster, Missouri. It's in central Missouri. The population of Knob Noster in the 2000 census was 2,462. Not a big city by any means! The closest town of any size to Whiteman would be Warrensburg, Missouri with a little over 16,000 people. It's about 20 minutes or so from Whiteman and is a college town (University of Central Missouri). Kansas City is about an hour northwest of Whiteman.
