Kids are like puppies. They look cute, but they grow up, and you have to deal with all the problems. Ever see screaming kids in grocery stores? They're not so cute then. Ever talk to parents of teenagers? Having children is a BIG responsibility and a longggggg-term commitment., not to mention the $$$. Can you afford to put a kid through college? Do the world a favor and don't add to an already overpopulated world that grows by a shocking 210,000+ per DAY. If you must have children, rent them...

Kids are great. But, you must make sure that you are completely ready to have them. Being married is always a good start. Then you must talk with your partner about how you each feel the best way to raise children is. You may never have kids if you wait until you are financially ready, but being close is good.
Yes, I love kids and think anyone who is ready, really ready should love and nurture one, or ten.

I have two myself. Lil boys. They are great! Love them more than anything. There are times I wish I would have waited a lil longer. I had my first at 22. But if I would have waited they wouldn't be who they are. A friend told me that, and he is so on the money with that. I don't know how old you are, but if you are wanting kids do it. As long as you can support them and don't depend on someone to give you what you yourself needs. Its also good to be married or have someone that you know will stick around.

Rasing children is the most complete, rewarding experience in life. Nothing beats watching a son or daughter try and emulate you as they swing a baseball bat or do a dance step. It takes a lot of patience, understanding, unconditional positive regard, sacrifice, and selflessness, but it is absolutely worth it. These are qualites that help you grow and become a more compassionate, less selfish human being.
I have four children and they are terrific. Its indescribably wonderful to be a parent.
(Be glad your parents did not decide not to have children).

Kids are Awesome! Life changing little people, they will make you laugh and make you cry. I wouldn't change a thing and I have four. My biggest suggestion would be to make time for them as they grow so fast you don't want to miss a thing. Even when they get up before you and make a path with Hersheys syrup from the kitchen to the living room on your beige carpet to wash their toys!!!!!!!Love 'em.

Kids are a big responsibility. Raising kids is more tough than having them. But then they are the ultimate happiness in one's life.

I have five, and it is the most enjoyably, frustrating, fulfilling, void in my life. Do not have them until you are mature enough to handle them. My kids are great, but being a parent is not all fun and games. You are responsible for turning out productive members of society rather than juvenile delinquents. I would not trade parenthood for anything, and I am immensely thankful for my children. We have always had lots of babies in our family. My g-grandmother had 12 children and her sister had 13. Each of my grandmothers had five, my folks had two, and my sister had 9. Babies are God's assurance that He hasn't lost hope for mankind, yet.
