bf keeps bring up ex?

my bf and i have been dating for 3 1/2 years and are getting engaged soon. back during the first years, i mentioned something to him about disliking a certian movie because i had seen with my ex and he had paid attention to only the movie during the 1st date. I am so over that 5 years ago date with my ex, but recently my current bf has been bring that event into converstations and is doing so often. I don't know why? why does he like teasing me about that movie (ice age) and why is he doing it years after i first told him about it?

becuse he may feel like you still like your ex and or he may feel hurt too becuase every time you and him go the movies, he may think about it and he may be doing it just to get on your nerves because he know u dont like it, i do my girl like that and she get mad but it be funny but yuh maybe he feel u still have feelings for him and ya know, just dont keep bringing up your ex or he will feel like you have no felings for him.

He is probably feeling a little insecure and wanting reassurance that he is the one you really want. You could tell him that you are so glad that you met him and that your ex never even pops into your head. Or be silly and one day go out and rent the movie and tell him you want to make a new memory or the two of you watching it because you know it will be so much better with him.
I know at times I've teased my bf about his exes, and it's usually because somewhere in the back of my mind, I am wondering if he is as happy with me and if I really stack up to her.

I think he is feeling insecure,he loves you a lot and he doesn't want to lose you,so he is grilling you about your ex so he can find out all that you hated about him.You are obviously very demanding (considering you hated a movie just cause your ex was paying more attention to the movie than to you),he doesn't want to lose you for the same reasons you and your boyfriend broke up.

Because HE hasn't forgotten it, either! Now everytime he sees that movie, he's going to think of the ex bf story his girlfriend felt she had to tell him. NEVER bring up ex's! That's never a good idea. Just say you don't like something for whatever reason, because they always feel you are throwing the ex in their face if you say things like that. obviously he deems it necessary to find reason to ridicule you,
push your 'buttons',..so to speak.. perhaps he wants to see how far he can resonate something to mock you about as to keep hidden some ugly ghost in his closet?? Maybe you should tell him that your ready to knock his face in if he keeps insisting on
