What do you think of this?
I have a crush on a guy friend of mine, whom I see at work everyday. I have suggested to him that we stop talking altogether so I can get over him. What do you think of this?

That's not going to work. Just do activities that make you focus on other things. Keep busy, in time you'll get over him. Don't act funny or mean around him, he'll just eat that up. Just act normal, say, "hi" to be nice, don't try to start a conversation with him. I had a co-worker I was totally into, he wasn't into me. He calls me every once in awhile, I just think it's to make sure I've not met anyone else. Just move on, there are other fish in the sea.

Erm...not talking isn't quite the solution your looking for. It's not going to work. Did he return this crush? (I assume not.) It's up to you to think about him platonically everytime you see him; mind over matter, and all that. Every time you talk to him, tell yourself he's just a friend, and that's it. Avoiding each other won't work, especially if you work together.
