My friend Tamara's Mom will not let her hang out with me anymore. They are very religious and her mom thinks I am a bad influence, disrespectful and I dress "suggestively". I stayed with them for 6 weeks here in Tx earlier this Fall when my Dad was in the Middle East on business. Her Mom and I did not get along too well. In fact, she even whooped me on the butt with a folded belt (hurts and embarrasing!) twice because she was like I am disrespectful of adults and because I got in trouble at school again. I called the police after the 2nd time and they were like I deserved it and they told me to "shut up hang up and then grow up" (taxpayers should be outraged!) I complained to my Dad and he was like I should be ashamed and he grounded me 7 weeks and I just got ungrounded.
I miss my friend Tamara. I told her to put her Mom on the phone but she refused to talk to me. Should I just give up on this? I see her at school still but we just aren't allowed to go to the mall and stuff.

Give up on this. Anyone with a parent who uses a belt on a child that is not their own is someone you should stop being friends with.

Usually when more than one person agrees that you are a problem then you need to look at yourself. Thankgod that someone is trying to help you. If your father put you on restriction then you know that something is up. Now.. Do not try to fix this so quickly, first lets fix you. Get your act together and show more respect to adults and maybe dressdown a little. how old are you? That is important to know too. When you start working on yourself and feel that you have seen the unatractive things about your personality and are fixing them, then you write this lady a letter and thankher for letting you stay with her for 6 WEEKS. Tell her that you are sorry for disrespecting her in her own home. And that you thank her for pointing out some of the ugly behavior you had because now you are fixing them. Maybe when she sees that you realize this and are behaving in a nice way she will have second thoughts about letting you 2 hang out. For now be satisfied with at school.

Maybe you needed it, you can never be too old to be whooped with a belt if it is deserved...seems your dad thought you did wrong too.
You say you are 15, if you were 5 and someone was beating you that would be a whole different story.
And what does high maintenance have to do with you being a disresptful brat??

You should just give up.
More than that, you need to focus on yourself and get your act together. Why did you get in trouble at school (again)? If someone has to resort to spanking you, and your dad is backing them up, then you have to be honest with yourself about what your part was in getting into this situation.
If you want people to treat you respectfully, then you have to act respectfully---which includes having a higher standard for how you behave and RESPECTING YOURSELF.

if everyone supports her even ur dad then u must be the pblm , she's right learn to respect ur elders , i don't think ur father would agree with her if he didn't feel the same ... when ur in someone else home u respect ur self and them but u didn't behave your self and that's why ur in this mess ... RESPECT UR SELF AND OTHERS ALWAYS
