I have an oval face, and my hair is wavy and curly underneath. I want a haircut that is sort-of chin-length, above shoulders but below the ears. I want a girlish sort of cut.

If someone could help me find a haircut, thanks a million!

Pictures help.

I don't want a mohawk, thanks for the suggestion though! :P

I see many answers so i probably wont say much new, but i would suggest you to chat with some professional hair stylists in jurgita.com forum. maybe there you will get some more ideas :)

Getting it short is def. the best choice if you're face is oval. Just be careful not to get it too short if you're hair is wavy or curly. I say go with layers all around but know that it'll give you more waves. Also, do some side-swept bangs or some regular bangs in the front.

Have your hair cut to your chin and tons of layers. Then have the stylist use a razor type thing to make your hair flip out . You will probably have to straighten it then flip it out your self but thats easy. I think this cut is very girly and fashionable and looks great on almost everyone.

Hope that helps :)

Layered to take some volume out and not too short not too long so you can leave it curly or straighten it without wasting a lot of time

my suggestion would be to go look at the books the salons have, then your hairdresser can help you choose one that is suitable for your face and the type hair you have.

since you have an oval face.......practically any hairstyle would look good on you.... you can get a bob http://www.hairstyle.com/datastore/0/jessica-alba-bob.jpg

and to make your look more girly you can tell your stylist to give you side swept bangs

Check out these hairstyles...not sure what would work best for your hair, since I don't know what it looks like...but I think for wavy/curly hair, these would be manageable:
