I do and I don't. It depends on what you mean.
For one thing, history suggests that the "traditional relationship" has never really existed in any practical or real sense, generally speaking. Just like today, in the past some relationships were successful, and some were not. Relationships have never been all the same, just the perception of them has been constant in various eras. Take the 1950s, for example. Many people stereotype the 50s, and think that all relationships were like "Leave it to Beaver," but the reality was that divorce rates were rising, domestic abuse was rampant, women often worked, and many men and women had "modern" relationships.
That said, there are relationships that are NOT considered traditional where the man provides, cherishes, and protects his wife, and she respects him. The thing is that the man has to respect his wife, too. And she needs to cherish, protect, and provide for him in return. That is how my marriage works, and it has been very successful. To me, that IS a traditional relationship, just like in the Bible (should that be what you mean by "traditional"). You give your everything to your spouse, and she gives her everything back to you. You BOTH respect and cherish each other. You expect nothing in return, but you receive it all.

Society is changing women are becoming more responsible for their lives, provide for themselves and in many cases think there is no need to humble themselves to a man.In the same vein some men are becoming lazy and inresponsible. But with all these said I think about 75% of men still believe in traditional relationship.

Nahh i think an independet, confident, self-providing, not lazy woman is great now a days, as with a guy in the same respect... there is no traditional relationship anymore, unless the guy is a control freak

When you find some, let me know. But then again, how many women want this? I mean really want this? It is difficult to be a woman who wants this today. people, society, other women expect us to "be all" and "do all". How many women are really comfortable admitting this? and how many men would be comfortable admitting this as well? Good luck with this question. It's a great one. I would love to see great input from this one myself.

I only believe in that if the couple wants children. And then this is best. But I think it is only right to have children if you can afford to send them to college. If you can't do that you are only bringing your children into the world to have a hard life.
Any relationship has to be based on mutual respect. When that is gone the relationship is a living hell.

its been my experience the traditional relationship is the most stable and rewarding out there. you have clearly defined roles and usually thats what people are best for (trying not to sound too sexist). i dont know why women want to work. work sucks, its stressful, and the women for the most part make less than men. i thought it was better to keep it simple.
