I looked all over the net but could not find the answer I wanted. It is quite a simple question. I got the line already on the reel (installed at store). now all i need is help getting that line through the loops, my problem is the bale. How do I place the line on the bale?

Flip the bale first, then thread the line through the eyes. Make sure you pull enough out past the top eye so you can tie on a rig or lure or whatever you are using. Then flip the bale back over and you should be fine.

Just open the bail and feed the line through the guides. The bail has a guide on it that will wrap the line back around the spool when you reel. After you cast when you start to reel the bail will automatically close but if you flip it closed manually the bail spring will last much longer. When you need to replace the line, it will come off the filler spool slightly coiled because of line memory. Put it on the reel the opposite way it's coiled to help stop looping. Good luck with the new reel.

Close the reel by cranking the handle forward. Make sure you lock your spool so it can't spin backwards. Take the loose end of line and thread it underneath the bale catch (the wire/metal) that surrounds the reel spool. Continue running the line upwards thru the 4 or more eyes until you are out the end. Attach a casting plug or lure to keep the line from falling back thru the eyes. Cast out and reel it back in to make sure you have no issues. Good luck.

to get the line on the bale, just thread it under so it goes over the roller (back towards you, then around and up towards the tip of the rod)..... sometimes easier if you open the bail-arm and let a bit of line out, then close it, slacken off the clutch while you pull the line through the guides (rod rings).

Once you've got it through, set the clutch on the reel properly..... so it just starts to give line as the tip of the rod starts to bend.
