Proven? No. Is there an afterlife? Well, that question can only be truly answered when you die.

NDEs, Near Death Experiences, prove nothing about the supposed afterlife. I've had a NDE and there was nothing in it to suggest that there is a soul that lives after the death of the body.

In fact, just the opposite. The "soul", or self, personality, persona, or ego (whatever you want to call it) is one of the first levels of consciousness to die during the dying process. The self is just one of the many levels to consciousness that ceases to exist as a person dies.

It makes no sense at all to assume there is an afterlife. But the self is eager to believe in eternal life because that is a fundamental weakness of the self, which wants to perpetuate itself, even at the expense of truth and reason.

no, there is no proven afrerlife but the same god who told us facts about life is the same god told us facts about afterlife! so you gota believe. and this is a wise thing! because if it is proven, you simply would believe and be a good person but god want to test us for who can choose the good way and wait his prize in the afterlife and who choose the bad way to get everything he want and don't care with anything else but himself. so choose your way carefully because it's the way you choose your prize ;). + it's fair to have an afterlife! because there are many bad pepole had escaped from punishment and many good pepole didn't awarded for them good life. so what do you think if you spent all your life as a good person and a bad guy killed you! so who gonna judge him and award you? and even if he judged in life is it enough for you while you in your grave??!!

That all depends on your choices here and now.We all have a goal in mind. You could say that there has never been a proven Afterlife---they are gone and don't care to come back here to let us in on their life----A NEW LIFE WITH CHRIST.....Hallelujah...

Of course not. But you already knew that. There is a book out about the very famous Harvard Professor William James research into the possibility of life after death called Ghost Hunters.

No, not proven, but if there's one I'll be sure come back to tell you. How should I come back, by way of the creaky floor boards, or a curtain fluttering? How 'bout I just stand at the foot of your bed and make scary wooing noises?

The most compelling evidence comes from near death experiences and they are more credible because many have been the subject of clinical studies that haven't provided a natural explanation for them. Tens of thousands of people can't be deluded or telling lies so if you believe them it would seem that consciousness continues after bodily death.

There's a fair amount of evidence, what with NDE's and OBE's, and OBE's DURING NDE's... LOL . That's a lot of acronyms! But yeah, if we can live outside the body for any length of time, we should be able to live after our bodies perish. As to where... well that is the question, isn't it?
