They probably have a URI which needs to be treated with an antibiotics.
You shouldn't leave an upper respiratory infection untreated.
I think a trip to the Vet is in order.

yes... cats get a kind of cat cold. If they sneeze and have watery discharge from the eyes, then you need to take them to the vet. When my cat was about a year old, he developed what translates into a cold symptom for us humans - sneezing a lot. Sometimes a bit of wet spray is disharged when he sneezed. But it cleared up within a couple of days.

No. Cats can not get the human flu virus. But your kittens might have cat flu. This is pretty serious with young cats and should be treated by a vet.

They probably have a bronchial infection. My cat had one and passed it to his sister. I had to take them to the vet. And unfortunately, they can pass it back and forth. I'm not sure how they get it. My vet told me to get a humidifier or keep them in the bathroom with you when you take a shower. I think the coldness in my house was the cause, but I'm not sure I didn't ask my vet.

Cats can get sick, ie a cold, but they didnt get it from you, people cannot give animals colds & vice versa. The cold should clear up within a few days. I'd keep my eye on them though & if they start to not eat or actting strangely i'd recommed a trip to the vet! Good Luck

My vet once told me, that a cat can catch a cold from you. you can give your cat 1/2 cc of triminic, that will help his breathing, you have to hold his head far back, and then squirt it far back, into his mouth, it can cause him to foam at the mouth, but it will help him, you can also mix it into a can of cat food. Fishy cat food is the best to hide the taste...good luck.

It's probably an upper respiratory virus like humans get when they have the flu. It is specific to the cat and cannot be transmitted to humans.
