ive been told its anything from a heart problem to a stroke.

When you taste anything metalic,it usually indicates your lacking in slofe......Iron............It sounds weird but it's true.Our diets now a days are awful and we do not get near the nutrients we need although we are pumped with chemicals,pesticides etc...vitamines added to what you eat are not necessarily the ones you need and you may have to take a supplement vitamin such as Iron.I hope this has been of some use to you.Anemia also follows and you may become dizzy and weak as a result of it
but you sound like your in the early stages and will not (hopefully)get to that point....

Lead poisoning can taste metallic in the mouth.

If it is copper, then look up the copper zinc relationship and how one affects the other in the body... go from there.

could be your water pipes and ph of water, try bottled water for a month and see.
