Unfortunately there isn't much available for people who want help. My husband went through the same thing you are going through. First, congratulations for wanting help and seeking alternatives!
Unfortunately if you go to the Emergency Room, they won't help you. My husband went to the ER and said he was suicidal and wanted help with his drug problem. They said his problem was the drugs only and they were wrong!
Second, contact a mental health agency for assistance, your city hall, Local Churches, and other entities that you can think of that might help with donations. Contact your local legislation to see if there are any grants available (if there isn't there will be soon). Various rehabilitation centers have financial assistance programs, but for some people it's still too expensive.
If you have exhausted all of these resources and still seeking more information, contact me back and I'll see what else might be available to you.

If that doesn't artwork out, you could consistently examine in with alcoholics nameless - i be attentive to, you're no longer an alcoholic, yet addictions are addictions, and AA does have an extremely super application for the kin of persons who're in the AA application - the two to help them help the guy who's doing AA and to help the kin to boot, with the aid of fact the finished kin is in disaster whilst something like this occurs. ought to you fly as much as see your sweetie? in all possibility no longer. between the important issues approximately detox is breaking old contacts and helping to establish new workouts. this is why visits are so strictly constrained. Your plan to concentration on your own destiny and pass back to college is a favorable step for the two one in each and every of you. you ought to substitute into greater self sufficient and by employing doing so, will help him to boot. Being a clinging vine at this factor won't do the two of you any good. So - stay supportive, proceed to place in writing letters, proceed to get on with your existence, and with any luck, whilst he returns, you will have the skill to devise a existence collectively.

You should be able to go to your local health department or community mental health service. Look up substance abuse services in your local phone book. Someone will help you.
