Basset Hound. I have had doxies, coon hound, and a couple little Heinz 57's. By far the Basset is my fave. I just love most all dogs. My daughter-in-law has & has shown Collies, mom had a Dalmation that was to smart to call him a dog! Still, for me, the Basset, always. My little doxie Missy propbly would not like to hear me say that!

Heinz 57 -- good old American mutts are some of the best dogs ever! I also like Labs and Border Collies.

We lost our beloved Golden Retriever a couple of years ago, she was great. We now have a La Hasa Apso and she is adorable and funny. I just love all dogs. Going to animal shelter tomorrow, they have the cutest Min pen that goes up for adoption. I'm hoping to get her.

I adore Neapolitan Mastiffs :) I saw one in a dog book about 4 years ago and at the time I thought it was the most ugly creature to walk the planet but they've grown on me in a big way! I want either a blue or a tawny one!

Labrador Retriever. Smart, loyal, energetic, good with children and other animals, protective and personable. I'd rather spend an hour with my Lab in a raging blizzard than 5 minutes with most people.
