Christian Theology is flimsy and rebels against logic. We do have free will and their is a G-d.

You are absolutely one hundred per cent on the money. I could not have said it better myself. From previous experience we know what kind of poorly thought out arguments you will get from the intellectually stunted christians. They will say things like you have a choice whether to kill somebody or not. That argument, of course, is simplistic and meaningless. If the choice to not kill somebody is likely to result in your own death or that of someone close to you, is it really a choice? Many crimes of passion are spontaneous and don't involve any thought and, therefore 'choice' at all. There are also any number of scenarios where the circumstances that led up to the killing could be totally beyond your control. In other words, the shallow thinkers of christiandom, all other factors being equal, would have one person going to hell and everybody else going to heaven in spite of the fact that if, by chance, any of the 'heaven goers' had found themselves in the same circumstances, they would have reacted in the same way. Bottom line is; we are not all created equal. The son of a rich pastor has a much better chance of getting through life and meeting the criteria for getting into heaven than the son of a crack addict or the son of an imam in Syria. At this point some idiot christian will be thinking "yeah but the rich pastors son can always falter and the crack addicts son and the imam's son can always 'find jesus'. Of course that 'can happen' but, statistically it won't happen and the disadvantage of the crack addict's son and imam's son, through circumstances totally beyond their control is huge. In short, upon even the most cursory of scrutiny, 'free will' falls apart as a fair and valid concept.

How was your Christmas T?
You choose Heaven or Hell. It's your free will. It's not punishment. It's what you chose. If Heaven is order, love, and light and you choose to bring that to your current life as often as possible, then you've chosen that way and will continue it in the afterlife. If you choose to do things your own way, alone, with less love, where everyone does whatever they feel like in chaos, chances are that's exactly what Hell is like, and you can choose that too.
Free will is difficult for some because it makes you repsonsible for your own life and the world we all live in. I say step up. Start taking some repsonsibility.

Congratulations! You make no sense. Yes, you have free will. You can go and get drunk as you please. You may get picked up by a cop or have a huge hangover the next day. Those are consequences.
Nobody ever said free will came without CONSEQUENCES. Free will is the act of having the freedom to chose and make decisions, think a certain way, without being controlled, namely by God. No, the government does not hamper free will. It merely creates consequences for the harmful decisions we make using our free will. You can kill people, you can steal. But you'll get sent to prison. In prison, you can think evil thoughts about others, no institution will control that, only God could, and He lets you..
Free will doesn't entail that we will make the right decisions, nor does it entail that we will go unpunished for our decisions. It is merely the ability to make these decisions without being forced by God.
So no, it is not bogus.

Its your free will not to accept Christ. Its my free will to accept him. Whether you will be punished or not is not up to those of us you find bogus or condescending. I feel bad for you because you seem so angry. This much anger usually means pain. Whatever is causing you pain, I hope it will be resolved soon.

The exercise of our free will will always produce an outcome, or result.
For some it will bring a blessing.
For others it will bring a consequence.
One of the choices in free will is temperance (self-control).

You will not be punished for excersizing your free will, even if you excersize it by not accepting Christ. Why? Because it is not the excersizing of the free will that will be the problem; it is the choice you make - the very choice itself. I realize that the vast majority of churches teach some real tripe, and thats why I say time and time again that it doesn't surprise me that so many people call religion bogus. The truth that is written in Gods Word is not whats being taught generally in the churches. When I attempt to teach what the Word really does say, I normally get accused of being in a cult, even though I belong to absolutely no church or affiliation whatsoever. First of all, the usual teaching is that all people are given free will. That is a false teaching. Not everybody has free will. The Bible teaches that before Adam and Eve came on the scene, there was an entire age, and that at that time Satan rebelled because he wanted to be the begotten Son of God instead of Jesus - so a war began, and about one-third of our people chose to go on the side of Satan. Many others stayed neutral and didn't really care at all (much like people today - we haven't changed all that much). But then there were a group of people who stuck on the side of God, never faltering, dedicated and true to God during that war. These peoples God called his "election" or his "elect". God did not favor one set of folks over another - these people earned their right to be called elect.
Anyway, Satan and his army were overthrown, and God at that time could have simply destroyed the one-third that went with Satan, but what does it take to kill one of your own, that you love?
So, instead, God destroyed that age that was, and brought in a new earth age, where souls were put into flesh bodies (this is the age we are in now, of course) and this is where in Genesis you find Adam and Eve coming on the scene. God in Genesis was not creating the world for the very first time, he was refurbishing it to make it suitable for man in the flesh, since it had been destroyed after the great war. Now, back to free will. Here, on earth the plan by God is that each soul comes through woman and is given free will to choose once and for all who they wish to follow: God or Satan. God is fair - he offers a choice to all.
BUT: Those people called the elect are NOT GIVEN FREE WILL. Why not? Because they were already judged and justified in the age that was - they already made their choice by their actions of following God without faltering during that war I just told you about. Since they have already been judged, no free will is needed, and God can use these folks, interfere with their lives to bring about the end time plan, etc... God will not interfere with those who have free will, because then at judgement, that person can say, "God, you interfered in my life, otherwise I might have made a better choice - its not fair". This way, with the free will and no interference from God, they will have no excuse whatsoever - they will make their choice and will have to face God with the choices they make. There is so much written in the Bible that people just simply are not being taught - if they were taught the Book for what it really says, then people wouldn't be constantly confused with what they hear, and it would make common sense to them - Don't be surprised when I tell you that God feels much the same way you do about the teachings being bogus and condescending - thats not me saying it, thats written in Gods Word - He says when he comes back its gonna be with a rod of iron to correct these idiots, and He says He is gonna visit the Churches FIRST - that judgement is gonna start at the pulpit - and it should, with those pastors/preachers/teachers who teach false crap and mislead his people away from the Truth.
God also says he's gonna get the support beam of their church and crash it down on top of their heads. Wonder Why, huh???
Now I want to make something clear: I am not saying that every church and every pastor/priest is wrong - their are some very good teachers of the Word, and to them I salute. Unfortunately, they are few and far between. God says at the end, there will be the majority - the masses - millions of people deceived because they did not hear the truth taught - Thats because there aren't that many Bible teachers who are teaching Gods Word - and people seem to rather to listen to men's word, instead.

Mr. Jibber Jabber
Free will does not come without consequences. You can exercise your free will and jump off a 10 story building, but that doesn't mean you won't splatter when you hit the bottom. If you choose to live a debauched life, you will pay the price. It's truly your choice.

That is the most pathetic argument I have heard so far. You also have the free will to murder someone and you will be punished by prison.
Free will and the consequences for excersing that free will are mutually exclusive. That is as bad as the free speech argument of how can I have free speech if what I say gets people mad at me.....well DUH!
You have the free will to choose right from wrong...that doesn't say that if you choose wrong you will not be punished. That is about the most immature attitude towards life I have seen from anyone over the age of 13 in a long time. Grow up.

Remember this!God gave you and I both free will. You can choose to be gay, a drunk, a rapist, a child molester, and yes you can choose Satan over Christ. Jesus died on the cross and gave you that right. The only problem is there is no second chance after you die and you will have to spend eternity in hell if you reject him. He did not send you to hell. You are sending yourself.
