I was wondering about the dangers of milk duct being cut during c-
section leaks into dogs stomach.Could this be deadly?Thanks for any
input.

Ok not stomach but in the gut area.The vet nicked a glad and it (milk)leaked into the gut.She later went in to shock and died.The surgery site went up to bottom of rib cage and down tword lower area.
And yes smart a-- I know all about it.I have never heard of this happening,but IT DID HAPPEN!

NEVER seen it happen. Been a vet tech for 17 years and had/bred dogs for many of those. Was a "whelper helper" for 5 years also.

C-sections are lower and in the middle of the teats. The mil ducts do not run across the middle of the dogs abdomen only around each nipple.
Even if they were cut durring surgery they would be cauterized and it would not leak.
I know a breeder who has had c-sections done on three of her last litters and no problems after.
