Well, that's definitely a worst-case scenario, but it could be true, to a point. The germs that accumulate in a poorly-maintained mouth, particularly under the gums and between the teeth are the most virulent there are in the body. If a person's oral hygiene is practically non-existent, these bacterial products build up, destroy the supporting bone under the gums and cause a horrible, yucky, smelly mess. As a hygienist, I have seen this close up, and the smell will knock you back in your chair. Recent research has show that as this person swallows this mess constantly, for years, the bacterial waste products slowly can build up in the bloodstream, causing God-only-knows what diseases, but heart problems have been linked to it.

And when I say "bacterial waste products" simply use your imagination, and it will become clearer why these "products" are so harmful. Yuck.

This is false information. The worse that can happen is your teeth fall out. Will it cause a premature death? No.

It has been clinically proven that plaque on the teeth cause more plaque in the blood vessels. Plaque in the blood vessels can cause high blood pressure, blockages, heart attacks and strokes.
