What is the best icewine made in Canada?

This is a question of taste, and there is no correct answer.

There are some superb ice-wines made in Canada, Inniskillen make some of the best distributed wine. I like the ice-wines from Crown Bench Estate, Chateau des Charmes and Vineland Estate (whose Cabernet Franc ice-wine is stunning).

But there is one winery that makes ONLY ice wines -- and they are superb. That winery is Royal De Maria in Vineland, Niagara, Ontario.

Ice wines are expensive and rare -- every one of them is special and should be enjoyed and appreciated. Deciding for yourself through tasting them which is the best is an admirable pursuit, but their is always a new vintage so its anever ending task. So enjoy.

(To the person who posted about German eiswein -- Canada ice-wine is just as authentic and legally controlled. Your ignorance of the subject is shown by your inablility to even correctly spell eiswein)

Ahem, the best eisewein is made in germany where it was invented and perfected. If you're buying non-authentic then, IMHO, you're paying too much and getting comparative piss water.

EDIT For Pontac, to a person who doesn't even understand how bouquet of a wine affects the taste buds, I wouldn't expect you'd realize that eis(e)wein is spelled different ways in different countries. And since I've owned a bottle of eisewein from the ORIGINAL winery that produced it, I'd have a hard time being convinced that a canadian version is just as authentic or as regulated (for example, true eisewein is a specific type of grape). Enjoy your overpriced canadian pee-water.
