Yes you should be worried.
It doesn't sound like Parvo but we are getting different cases of it recently. Not as severe. Did you just get him for Christmas and is a change of diet causing the problem. I would also try something besides natures variety. The high protein may be too much for his little system

EXPLOSIVE diarrhea? Sounds nasty!
Try feeding your dog boiled chicken (remove the bones and skin) & rice. If the stool doesn't appear to improve after 2 days or so, see your vet. If the stool shows any sign of blood, or parisites, don't wait ... see your vet immediately.
Your pup might simply have a distressed stomach.
Good luck.

hiccups are just from eating fast, my pup was the same why for a while. as for the diarrhea, you might want to get it checked out. 4 days is a long time, and you dont want to risk dehydration (even if its still getting lots of water). it probably has cocimda (totally spelled wrong i'm sure), its a parasite that puppys tend to get while litter mates, and it usually ends up with really lovely diarrhea. my pup had that when we first got her from the kennel, the entire litter had it (but its really common and nothing to worry about, i think we had 2 weeks of meds that smelled like vanilla pudding and she LOVED it)

Have you changed his food? Did he get into anything he shouldn't have? He could also have worms.
The best thing to do is take him to the vet - He could become dehydrated if the diarhea continues.
Hiccups is totally normal for a puppy

You need to have your pet examined by a veterinarian. Your puppy could have parvovirus (which is fatal), gastroenteritis, or could have intestinal parasites causing the diarrhea. Puppies are also very prone to dehydration if not eating/drinking or having diarrhea as they loose water quickly. Diarrhea also means that nutrients aren't being absorbs and your puppy could suffer from malnutrition, hypoglycemia and hypothermia. I would take your puppy to the vet soon as it sounds like this has been going on for some time.

Put him on boiled hamburg and rice for at least three days. NO KIBBLE!!! If it gets better, start to introduce kibble again slowly. If it continues...see the vet! Any other symptoms start...see the vet!
The puppy should be wormed and vaccinated....so I hope you have been to the vet or made an appointment!!

He obviously cannot tolerate the food you are giving him, plus it sounds like a nasty gastroenteritis. He may need antibiotics. You need to take him to the vet.
Feed your pup fresh food, like rice, organic brown basmati, with good quality only lean lamb, at least for a few days.
Industrially prepared dog food is rubbish in packaging appealing to humans!
If you want to feed your dog properly and make sure he grows up into a fit and healthy dog, drop me a line, I will be pleased to advise. I am a dog owner for 37 years.

It is ,most likely, Giardia. Take him to a vet and get the antibiotics which he must take for about a week.
