sound on the 42' viore plasma hd tv?

my dad just hooked up the tv and the sound keeps(not all the time) cutting in and out and when it dose that it says mono/sap. dose anyone have anything.

yeah, you have to turn the Secondary Audio Program (SAP) off.

You can do that by pressing the SAP or MTS button on your remote control until you get to STEREO... if your remote doesn't have those buttons, then you have to change it thru the menu. Press the menu button then go into the AUDIO or SOUND menu and change the SAP/MTS to STEREO
