That would depend on your TV and the video card you have in your computer. Some video cards have S-video outputs, which you can use to connect the computer to the TV. If you have a firewire jack on your video card and a firewire jack on your TV set, you probably could do this. Please give more info about your make and model of television and video card, so that better answers can be given. I have a computer with a video card with a DVI ouput and a TVset with an HDMI input. With an appropriate video card and cable,I can and have connected my computer to my TV. I hope this helps.

No. Firewire is just a data transfer standard, just like USB. If your TV has a firewire input (highly unlikely), then you may be able to do so. Otherwise, your best bet is sticking to composite/s-video/component cables, whichever your video card supports.

Only if it either has a port or if you hook your computer to your TV. The latter may be your best bet! If you have a digital camera, take pictures of all your TV and computer ports and take them into a Radio Shack or the Geek Squad at BestBuy to get the best answer!

yes it can--if you have a port...if not then try a tivo or one of these new dvd burners...i don't know if you can run a backwards feed from the computer into the device and then into the tv.....it may work
