Side effects
Generally, phentermine appears to be relatively well tolerated [3]. It can produce side effects consistent with its catecholaminereleasing properties, e.g., tachycardia, increased heart rate, increased alertness, but the incidence and magnitude of these appear to be less than with the amphetamines. Because phentermine acts through sympathomimetic pathways, the drug may increase blood pressure and heart rate. It may also cause palpitations, restlessness, and insomnia. Additionally, individuals taking this drug on a long-term basis may develop euphoria and a psychological addiction to it.

Phentermine:
Please read:
What is the most important information I should know about phentermine?
Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. Phentermine may cause dizziness, blurred vision, or restlessness, and it may hide the symptoms of extreme tiredness. If you experience these effects, avoid hazardous activities.
Phentermine is habit forming. You can become physically and psychologically dependent on this medication, and withdrawal effects may occur if you stop taking it suddenly after several weeks of continuous use. Talk to your doctor about stopping this medication gradually.
Do not crush, chew or open any "once-daily" phentermine tablets or capsules. Swallow them whole.

I lost 112 pounds by losing it slowly. I was happy at losing 1-5 pounds amonth. It took me 1.5 years to lose it but it is gone. I exercised daily so that I would not have the flabby skin. I started out only being able to walk 7 minutes and gave up that day. I went back out the next day and walked 15 minutes. I can now jog and love to jog 3-5 days per week up to 1 hour. You can do this !
non prescription phentermine
See web on people who felt that they were suckered into “non prescription phentermine”

I am also taking Phentermine. As long as it's not abused, it won't be life threateing, as in any kind of drug. I use it on days when I need a little boost of energy

pills..drugs...food..everyone misses the most important aspect..exercise...if people would exercise more they would not have to worry so darn much about food...Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.
1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day
2.) drink lots of water
3.)exercise every day
4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep

It's stimulant. She's probably doing it to get energy if she's not doing it to lose weight. It is addictive and should only be taken under a doctor's care for a few months at a time.
