Ok. Begin with cracking 2 to 3 eggs in a bowl ( depending on amount your making ) .
Add an equal amount of milk & mix thoroughly.
Add a pinch of sugar
Add cinimon till surgface is thoroughly covered
Mix thoroughly again.
Warm a skillet and melt enough butter in it to grease the surface.
Dip bread into mixture, make sure both sides are coated.
Allow extra mixture to drain back into bowl
Place bread onto skillet to cook
When the surface is looking dry flip over and allow to cook a few more seconds.
Remove toast from skillet and serve with syrup

You'll want to try it several times to get the measurements to your taste. Some people prefer more egg, some more cinimon or sugar.

Basically - french toast is sliced bread dipped in an egg batter and fried in a fry pan until cooked, then slathered in any number of buttery, peanut buttery, jammy, sugary goodness and stuffed down the gullet! You can google 'french toast' and find a million different variations from different kinds of breads to use to different batter recipies or toppings. I use two eggs, whip them up with a fork, add maybe 2 tablespoons of milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I dip whatever kind of bread I have (preferrable white) quickly on both sides, in the batter and drop it immediately onto a hot griddle or fry pan (best to put a squirt of that non-stick spray in first) Fry it until it's brown on one side and then turn it over and brown the other side. It usually stops steaming when it's done. Then you can top it with whatever you want (I use peanut butter and maple syrup) and eat it up! Yum Yum!

risky, no. wholesome, no. as long as you dont' purchase them from the save, or lead them to with bisquick, theyr'e basically quickbreads. the frenchtoast could have bigger ldl cholesterol that various different meals, from the butter interior the pan and the milk and eggs interior the batter. save those meals as a definite breakfast or take care of and you'd be positive. consume them popular and this is risky, even some situations a week does no longer do you justice. while you're worried approximately risky meals, particularly get into reading the labels. stay a techniques a techniques far flung from intense fructose corn syrups, stay away from fructose and sucrose, you quite dont' want something with in part hydrogenated, or hydrogenated oils. save the sodium stages low, if this is not salty adequate you could upload extra, yet enable your self be the decide, dont' enable a mass advertising panel and tasting panel inform you while this is adequate salt. good issues that are undesirable for you, are butter and sugar. in case you spot them on a label, persist with that kind (the place others could have hydrogenated oil and intense fructose corn syrup) because of the fact whats up... if this is undesirable for you...it may besides be organic, that way you're physique already is conscious what to do with it. and remember...in case you won't be ready to pronounce it: dont' consume it. i'm drained. sorry if something is disconnected. !Alexiis

You need bread (I prefer whole wheat), an egg, whole milk, butter & cinnamon:

Mix 1 Cup of milk with 1 egg. Mix thoroughly and let rest for a minute. In a skillet/fry pan, melt a couple of teaspoons of butter (carful not to burn). Take a slice of bread, immersein milk/egg mixture on both sides, put in skillet. Repeat ewith a second slice of bread. While bread is cooking sprinkle some cinnanmon on both sides.

When crispy brown, remove, apply butter/syrup and enjoy!!! Some folks like some kind of jam/jelly, but it is totally up to you!!!

Mix, eggs and milk.. Beat together till not sure on how much of each I just do it by site.. add how many eggs I think I need for our family of 4 I think I use 4-6 depending on how much we want to make.. add enough milk so the eggs are not to thick. I also add sugar and vanialla to the egg mixture.. then I use bread that is "dried out" I leave it out on the counter while I am mixing up the egg stuff. dip each side of the bread into the mixture trying not to dilute the bread with mixture. on the up side I sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on it
Then I cook it on both sides until done.. YUMMY

Combine 2 eggs, 2 cups of milk, 2 tbsp of sugar and mix well with a fork or slow speed mixer. Dip slice of bread in the mixture (thick sliced is best), coating both sides evenly...then place in a hot frying pan with a tiny bit of Crisco...sprinkle with cinnamon, brown on both sides and serve. Butter and syrup with powdered sugar sprinkled on it or some people prefer jelly

Combine: 2 or 3 eggs, milk, a little vanilla and some spices if you like (cinnammon, nutmeg, some cloves). Soak bread slices and pan fry them on medium heat until lightly brown. Serve with powdered sugar or syrup.
