Yes about 30 years ago. What you are saying about it is true. I think this may be why it is illegal. It is not addictive nor are there any reports of people committing any crimes under its influence. So I can't really see why it is a controlled substance.
Alcohol is far worse due to if level of addiction and the number of crimes that are committed under its influence yet society accepts the damage it does.
Crazy world.

Yes, twice. Years and years ago when I was 14.
Everything you say is true. I'll further add that it's a true "acid test." If your mind is at all on the crumbly side, this would be a good thing to avoid! I learned that I'm quite sane and have a strong mind.
To be honest though, the only amazing discovery I made is that my tongue is the same color as my lips.
It was an amazing discovery at the time - I remember being quite surprised to realize this.
Edit: Funny, I don't recall ever hearing "thou shalt not drop acid!"

I have taken LSD about 5 times in my life. I enjoyed 4 out of the 5. I haven't taken it since the last "trip", but I will say it changed my outlook on life in many ways.
The only down side is that is lasts so long.

Yeah, I did, a few times in high school. At one point, I was known as the acid queen.
Those days are long-gone, and I'm one of the few fortunate ones in that I have had no permanent effects other than the occasional flashback.
I consider acid to be very dangerous. A person can get really lucky, like I did...or they can wind up in a mental institution because of the drug.

Yes when I was younger. No I don't think its a tool to access the divine. What it did to me was a strange feeling that made me laugh out of control for hours at a time.

As a teen, and just for the trip. Never had an insightful moment with it though, but I remember liking it a lot.

The Bible warns about the use of drugs like that. And we are not to brake the laws set by our governments either, or to defile our bodies, so it's bad on at least three counts and I'm sure more.

Yes, and I didn't see god. Good thing too, that would have been a really bad trip!

Sorry..... I never took an illegal drug in my life.
Alcohol, yes. I also attempted (and failed) to smoke 2 cigarettes.
But as of yet, nothing that "opened my mind." (Alcohol simply shuts down the inhibitions before it shuts down judgment, clear speech, balance, and finally consciousness.)
