Can a person get a ferrie or cruise from the east coast to the U.K.?

Ferries only run on short trips, but yes you can get cruise liners from the east coast to the UK. Suggest you find out what companies have routes from the east coast to the UK.

QE2 runs between the two.

You could probably take a cruise ship. It might take an awful long time though. 7 hours to fly would be much more for the ship. Me, I like to get there.

I've seen them from Florida to Southampton, and you can get trains from there across the UK.
