She would appreciate a good bath and then a walk. Any good mommy will allow her babies to rest while she stretches her legs.
Most mommies will let you know. I have rescued a few that it will take them some time to get the babies just they way they want them but then they will be ready to get themselves cleaned up and do their own thing. Wait to you see how happy she iswhen they are spayed and the babies have their own homes.

After the pups feed you can take her on a short walk. She may not want to leave the pups though. It would probable do her some good to get away for a short walk. Remember pups usually eat every 2 hours so don't have her out to long.

She will definitely let you know, lol. With the puppies being a week old, she might be a little concerned about their safety. It all depends on how far she walks away from them.
I was able to take my dog to the vet 2 weeks after she had her litter. We put the pups in a carrier. Fortunately, I had a very large backyard, she got plenty of exercise back there. Your biggest concern right now should be deworming. Your dog is smart enough to get what she needs, as long as you pay for it, lol.
I have to comment on a few other comments. The puppies are a week old. They are not walking anywhere.

It should be fine to separate her for a little while as long as you leave a hot water bottle with the pups and make sure there are no drafts to expose them to a chill. Make sure that you also leave an area away fromt he hot water bottle for the pups to go to if they get too warm! Make sure to have mom back in not over 2 hours so she can feed the pups!

Mine went out into our back yard and stayed out for about 15 minutes as soon as she was done birthing. Within a few days she was leaving them for 30-45 minutes several times a day, and did a great job of raising them.
I had a weird male dog, though. He'd climb in the nest box and watch the pups for her whenever she left. I swear, he'd have nursed them for her if he had the equipment!
She should be OK for short walks by now. The pups can maintain their body temperature by heaping together as soon as they're dry. And short walks will help her body get back into shape, it helps the uterus contract and return to normal size along with helping her abdominal muscles return to normal.

Right after you call the vet and make an appointment to have her spayed.
If you don't know, then she shouldn't be having any more pups!

You can take her out for a brief walk at any time. Keep it short and close to home (preferrably on your own property).
