In "everyday life" vector calculus is used by all sorts of people in all sorts of career applications, from something as silly as swimming pool heating system design (where you want the pool temperature to be even throughout) to things as serious as distributive weapons design.

it seems like having a vector calculus class is only useful if you want to look good when applying for a graduate program in those fields the most important math you'll need is statistics, and perhaps probability linear algebra and differential equations seem pretty important, as well

In every fields : physics( forces are vector quantity furthermore velocity , acceleration , displacement , ...are vector quantity) , engineering ( static , dynamic , elasticity , ...) and so on .

One practcal way I use it is to determine what angle of elbows to use when connecting pipes in 3 dimensions.
