Kids at that age are pretty easy to please and like anything! Why not an afternoon lunch at a McDonalds that has a play land? Or Chuck E Cheese, if there is one in your area. A local ice cream parlor is good too.

For my daughters birthday we had a party at Pizza hut. It doesnt cost anything to use the space, just food and you have the option to buy and hang your own decorations! It was great. My house is too small to have gatherings like this so we had the space and such and it was a great time. I'd limit it to only 2 or 3 hours to avoid a cranky toddler.

Happy birthday to your little princess.

Other ideas could include a bulid a bear party (i dont kno if you have a build a bear store in your area) or a beauty party. Our local mall does dress up parties at this one store but i think thats geared towards older girls.

ANyway, good luck!

I agree with the Chuckee Cheese answer. My son turned 2 on December 19th and I took him, my 2 year old niece (she turns 3 in April), my best friend and my son's father there and we had a good time. They have toddler friendly options there and I got the biggest package, that included 100 tokens, 2 pizza's and drinks for only $40.00.

stay at home, invite people over, bake a cake and cookies, get balloons and games, 2 and 3 years old is too young to go to big places like disney world, start that when they are 5 and 6.

Two year olds are too hard to handle in a public setting.. Stay at home, have a bounce house or a clown or pony ride come to the house. It will be more relaxing for the parents.
