I've had most of my questions removed with violation notices. Even the most simple stuff that you could discuss at primary school level has been rejected. Is there any point saying anything anymore?

well I'm christian but i can't stand these wussies who get offended by everything, if your confident in your religion or yourself you can ignore these things. Insecure people do this. If your so offended don't answer the question just move on. A true christian would just look away and laugh or forgive, not try and punish. So thats why I think we should have R rated and PG ratings on are questions then if they don't like the question they can't flag you cause they knew it was R rated.

There are many problems in R&S with questions that offend and insult people. Also, there are many super-sensitive people who report anything and everything. If people would be a little nicer and show a little more respect and tolerance, this category could actually be a place for people to gain some enlightenment to different religions of the world.

Really, what kind of questions are getting pushed off? I haven't been offended by much I have seen.
I think open debate is great, and if people get their feelings hurt from a simple question, I have to question what is going on with them.
I hope you are incorrect, that people aren't getting shut down (unless, of course, their questions/answers are entirely inappropriate and vulgar, but not just because they ask difficult or sarcastic questions).

They don't even bother to look at things nowadays, they just report without thinking. Personally if I disagree with something I thumbs down it, the report system is not for expressing my viewpoint.
However you end up with idiots who report everything they disagree with, usually the trolls, like that *********** person.
And it's usually the fundamentalists who are so insecure in their religion that they feel the need to prove just how religious they are by reporting people, completely forgetting that they're contributing to unenjoyment of the site in the process and thus not getting them their extra credit.

I am a Christian, & I have got many violations just for mentioning God on this site. You have people on this site & their only purpose it to report someone, They are so Bored, that they can not find anything easy to do with their life, other than sit & report.

Everyone is complaining. Yahoo has just tightened things down a little and I think it is rejecting a little too much from both sides.
The thing is that stuff in this section gets read for about 15 min. What difference does it make if it comes down an hour later?

I am a Christian but I would never report a question from some one who is not, just because they disagree with me. I have reported abuse only when there are nasty comments, harassment or insulting comments. Questions from atheists are fine. It gives me a chance to share with them, why I am a believer.

I don't think it's the site, I think it's people being overly sensitive and reporting answers that would normally be considered innoccuous, because they don't agree with them.
