I am wondering if there is an official name for situation when a teacher will pick on a good child to vent his or her frustration at a bad child over whom they cannot exercise control. I thought it was something like the "good child condition" or something.

Any ideas?

I don't think their is a name for it but that teacher would have to be a pretty shi*tty teacher to ruin another kids education because she can't control another child. I would report her.

Sounds to me like this teacher is a bully and that can be worse than being bullied by another kid. A friend of mine moved her son out of one school because a teacher was picking on and bullying him. He was only 7. I witnessed what the teacher was doing and think my friend was right to move him.
I wish you luck and hope this helps.
