Try going through Ebay, you don't buy them second hand tho, there's a link on the page and it puts you through to the company that sells them, I got some for £75 and they are the best thing I've ever bought... I love them more than anything (sorry husband) and put them back in the box lovingly after use.... sad I know.... I could go on forever about why you must must must have them!

EBay is your best bet!

There are a lot listed so search to get a bargain. I got my brand new GHDs for £80 including a heat proof mat and styling spray. They're 100% genuine and perfect.

Ignore "confused" - the watchdog report concluded that it was just a faulty batch! Any hair straighteners are dangerous as well! As long as you leave them switched off and unplugged when you're not using them, they're perfectly safe!

Mu cousin bought hers on ebay for £60 but I would avoid at the moment, try another brand as GHD have a bad rep for going up in flames! Been on watchdog several times now.
