bulldog, but only has 3 legs. She is very timid and loveable, and the puppy is constantly biting her and won't let her on the porch. Any suggestions on what to do?

Learn more how to communicate with your dog. They are way smarter than we give them credit for, and they long for you to reach out and "find" them. Once you do you will never regret the expansion of your consciousness or the potential you open up. Be still with them for a while and it will become more obvious

since your new puppy is still young I would say that you have a good chance of training her to behave appropriately with your other dog. I know that I had to teach my first dog to leave my second dog alone when we got her and he was very receptive even as a two-year-old dog. I just firmly let him know that it is not okay to mount her or behave aggressively toward her. It took about three days, but they are getting along well now. Your puppy may also "grow out of it", but it can't hurt to gently let him know that he can't do that. Also, you might want to make sure that you aren't favoring the new dog over the old dog. If you are favoring the puppy he might be getting the idea that he is the king of the castle. I have found that treating them both equally can help relieve some of the competition as well. Males naturally try to be dominant, but as long as they are able to get along...they will be fine.

Nothing. Among dogs size is everything. Also the constant "biting" by the puppy is just playing around, nothing serious.
